Forward…

At the risk of sounding forward (smile) let me say, I am so glad you’re here.

What I mean by that is, I am glad you are literally, “here.” 

Here on this planet, today. I am glad that you are beginning to consider a greater possibility for your life and for your leadership.

I also mean, I’m glad you’re here - in the pages of this book that Scott has created.

And finally, I mean, I’m glad you’re here – right here, with me on this page, and not thinking about your to do lists, or the notifications on your phone, or the fight you had with your partner last night…

Smile. 

That’s okay, that’s “just the way it is “- unless we intentionally choose to create our world differently.

The Present Executive is Scott Cornwell’s filtration of the challenging and rewarding work of intentionality. He has labored in many ways to bring it to you, through deep and ongoing inner work, thousands of hours “in the chair” listening to some of the most dynamic executives in industry, and his personal contributions to the countless people who seek his ear. 

I could tell you here about Scott’s credentials, his experience, the clients he has worked with, his success in business, or what people say about him. But you can read about that somewhere else, because that is not what I have to share with you about Scott, or his book.

So, I shall conclude here, knowing that most of what I would want to say about Scott as a contribution simply defies words. (Many of the good things do, it seems.)

And I am even more certain and delighted, that he doesn’t need me to say them anyway.

Keep an open mind and allow yourself plenty of room for a few inconvenient truths and the joy of insights as they continue to unfold.
